SHOULD ANIMALS BE KEPT AS PETS
When you are sitting among your friends or family and enjoying your food, the question that comes off many times is if the animals should be kept as pets. This small question often leads to debates. The fact that this world is full of animal-loving people, some get involved in petting them with love, while some get involved in ensuring that they are able to see their family and stay in their respective habitats. Animals, in my opinion should not be petted until and unless they are in need of help. With help I mean, a stray dog that got hit by a car in an accident. Such a dog will be in need of intense healthcare, like proper bandaging and painkillers etc. Though, we pet animals with all our love, the fact that we often ignore is that they also belonged to a family and were kidnapped only for the purpose of earning money. Even if we pet dogs and birds with all our love, they are restricted to a small area. When it comes to freedom, we humans take it to the streets and violence to get ourselves heard. But, in the case of animals, we ignore them. Imagine getting kidnapped by traffickers and sold of to some other person for sport. Imagine sitting inside a cage and having a leash strapped around your neck, and you will get the answer to the question, "Should animals be kept as pets?"
