Because rate of flow of current is more in parallel connection
It allows less resistance
The current is not constant so if any device is fuse then it won't affect the other devices...

bcz it has various advantages :
a) it ensures that every electronic appliance has it's own switch
b) if one appliance isn't working properly then it won't effect the working of other devices.
c) it ensures adequate voltage to every device.
d) it reduces d resistance n which makes current to flow properly hence every device gets required current to run efficiently..
