parallelogram abcd and rectangle abef have the same base ab and also same area . Show that the perimeter of the Parallelogram is greater than that of the rectangle.

so height is equal
in a right angled triangle hypotenuse is greater than perpendicular
so perimeter of parallelogram is greater than that of rectangle
