Gandhiji withdrew the Non-Cooperation movement because of the following reasons:
1- Due to the Chauri-Chaura incident, people turned violent.
2)The people of India were not ready for the nation wide movement of mass struggle.
3) Majority of the members of the Indian national Congress felt that the Non -Cooperative movement is unnecessary and needs to be ended.
