Paresh wants to cover the floor of a roof 8 metre long and 6 metre wide with a square tiles. If the side of the square is 25 cm find the number of tiles required to cover the floor.

Answer:

area of tiles =

8 \times 6 = 48

area of floor =

25 \times 25 = 625

no. of tiles =

 \frac{625}{48}  = 13
