Pari is doing an activity. She has taken sand, table salt, Copper sulphate crystal, Saw dust and honey. She has 4 test tube each half filled with water. Now she is trying to add the material mention above., a) Write the observation for each case. b) Name the property of material associated with the experiment. c) Name a liquid which is not mixed with water. d) Name a gas which is dissolved in water

Answer:

a) when she add sand to test tube then sand is mixed with water at a moment but after some time sand will setteled down at the bottom a mixture is formed

when she addtable salt it will completely dissolved in water and a solution is formed

when she add copper sulphate crystals then also dissociate in water forming a solution

when she add saw dust  soime of it will  float above water while some is settled at bottom

when she add honey then it will partiall dissolve in water forming a miscible liquid

b) I have confusion in particle nature of material or property of dissociation

c)oil is aliquid which is not dissolved in water

d)oxygen ,carbon dioxide are soluble in water
