See, sodium salts are not only absorbed by pct but it is also absorbed by the narrower portion of ascending limb of loop of Henle. I would say that this part is selectively permeable to this salt only. Now, if we come to DCT, it is the part of nephron which again absorbs all the left important particles of ultra filtrate. At last, we can conclude that since PCT absorbs sodium salts first so we usually take it as answer.
