Particle moves along x- axis from x= 0 to x= 4 under the influence of force F= ( 5-3x + 2x^2) N. Calculate the work done.

dU = F dx
dU = (5 - 3x + 2x²) dx

Integrate above equation
W = [5x - 3x²/2 + 2x³/3]

From x = 0 to x = 4
W = [ (5 × 4) - (3 × 4² / 2) + (2 × 4³ / 3) ]
= 38.67 Joules

Work done is 38.67 Joules
