Particles of sand solution can settle down in beaker but salt solution cannot. Give reason.

Bcoz the sand particles r not too small to be mixed and it settles down but salt can be mixed in water and it's particles are appropriate to mix &hence salt solution is a homogeneous solution and that of salt is heterogeneous solution.
