Given:

Number of partners = 2 = A and B

Investment of A = Rs. 15400

Investment of B = Rs. 19250

Amount withdrawn by B = Rs. 7700

Total profit = Rs. 11500

To find:

The profit share of A

Solution:

The ratio of Investment of A and B

= (15400×12) : (19250×4)

Since an amount of 7700 has been withdrawn by B, therefore -

= (15400×12) : (19250×4) + (19250−7700)×8

= ( 4 × 12 ) : ( 5 × 4 ) + ( 3 × 8)

= 12:11

Calculating profit -

12/23 × 11500

= 12 × 500

= 6000

Answer: The profit share of A is Rs. 11500
