There are 8 parts of speech;
1 Noun
A noun is the name of person, place or things.
Example- Delhi, bat etc.
2 Pronoun
A pronoun is used at the place of a noun.
Example- He, she etc.
3 Adjective
An adjective is a qualifying words which qualify a noun or a pronoun.
Example- Good, tall etc
4 Verb
A verb is a word which denotes an action.
Example- Play, walk etc.
5 Adverb
An adverb qualifies a verb.
Example- Rapidly, honestly etc.
6 Conjunction
A conjunction is a joining words.
Example- And, so etc.
7 Preposition
A preposition which shows relation between a noun or a pronoun.
Example- On, into etc.

An interjection shows sudden cry or feelings of our body.
Example- Hurrah, bravo etc.
