PASSAGE 8 (5 Marks) A king set out in quest of a saint. He found a saint sitting under a tree in sen meditation. The king went and sat in front of him in silence. When the saint opened his eyes, the king found that his eyes were lit up with a strange light. He said to the saint. "Won't you come with me to my palace! will give you everything you need. A section of the palace will be reserved for you. Servants will wait in attendance and do whatever you command. The saint smiled, "I have no needs", he answered, "I do not need servants to do my werk. And I have a destre to come to your country" The point blank reftatal upset the king He was very angry.
