of soil from erosion is called soil conservation. Let us see how soil can
be protected from erosion. Rocks generally differ in their origin,
colour, texture and kind of minerals. According to their formation,
rocks are divided into three major classes: Igneous rocks
Sedimentary rocks, Metamorphic rocks. our earth is surrounded by a
thick blanket of air. This blanket of air around the earth is called its
atmosphere. Air is a mixture of many gases. The main gases present
in air are nitrogen 78%, and oxygen 21%. In addition, it contains
small amounts of carbon dioxide, argon, hydrogen, water vapour and
