Pastoral Communities engage themselves in pastoral farming and in rearing sheep, buffaloes, camel etc.
The unique thing is that these animals provide milk, carry goods and even is used as a means of transport. Their fur is used for making wool and, thereby, other items from it like carpets, garments and so on. The Gujjars and the Jats are examples of pastoral communities.
