Heyaa☺

___________________

Pb + CuCl2 =》 PbCl2 + Cu.

The above reaction is an example of displacement reaction.

Displacement reaction is by which one element replaces an/other element in a compound.

Answer =>Displacement reaction.

Pb + CuCl_{2}PbCl_{2} + Cu. This reaction is an example of a displacement reaction.

Single displacement reaction:

  • A displacement reaction occurs when another atom displaces an atom or a group of atoms in a molecule.
  • When iron is introduced to a copper sulfate solution, it displaces the copper metal.
  • A + B-C → A-C + B.
  • When A is more reactive than B, the above equation exists.
  • The interaction of iron with copper sulphate to produce iron sulphate.
  • Fe+CuSO4→FeSO4+Cu.
  • Because iron is more reactive than copper, it replaces it here.
  • Zinc sulphate is produced as a byproduct of the interaction between zinc and iron sulphate.
  • When a more reactive element displaces or pushes out, a less reactive element from a compound containing the less reactive element, a displacement reaction occurs.
  • The less reactive element is now pure and uncombined following a displacement reaction.
