Answer:

Peace is a key component of sustainable development. A healthy business environment is important for development, and in conflict-ridden communities, business operations are disrupted due to the unreliable social services and the prevalence of social problems such as poverty, hunger and inequality.

Answer:

Actually peace and development are complementary to each other. They are like two sides of a coin. In the absence of one other cannot exist. Peace means the absence of violence or other disturbances within a state whereas development is a result of peaceful environment. Development can be conducted only in a peaceful environment. If there is war, conflict and violence in the country then no development can be carried out. All the available means and resources goes in vain without its utilization. The state will focus on terminating war rather than conducting development works. This is why peace is important for development.
