Brown, a colour no one should be ashamed to be.
A colour that should make you feel free.
like mud and roots and unpolished rice.
like henna, beauty that comes with no price.
Brown, no less than whites, no more than blacks,
Brown, being bleached out, beauty that iacks,
Yes, some are dark, some are white as ice.
but who's to say we should be more sugar than spice?
