It varies by country/area as well how religious the individual is. For example the culture in many Muslim countries is that most women don't go to pray at the mosque the just pray at home. While in many Western countries women actually make sure to go to the mosque and bring the kids to feel a special connection to God, the mosque. and the community in general and hopefully instill that connection in their kids. In some countries women are highly discouraged from attending at all, almost to the point of not being allowed in Mosque or in which they are treated very poorly if they try to attend. Men on the other hand if they are believing Muslims will try to attend every Friday. Some people pray at the mosque daily, some several times a day. I attend my local mosque about 3 days a week (once for Friday prayer, once for my Halaqa Study Group, and once to teach at the Sunday School). My husband is there 4-5 times a week on average but sometimes more. He attends a men's halaqa, prays there intermittently throughout the week, prays the Friday prayer, and meets people there frequently. I would say the average Muslim of average or above religious faith/belief attends once a week on Friday.
Hope it helps :-)
