The current population expansion is indeed a cause of grave concern. At the estimated growth rate, earth will run out of most of its natural reserves of minerals and fuels by the end of the next century. As population increases, more demand is placed on earth’s already burdened environment. Moreover, very few natural resources are unlimited in nature.  

It is for this reason that several countries have a law regarding planned parenting and have set a limit on the number of members in a family.
