People of talk of the population in alarmed tones because when the population is left to increase without control the net effect will be that in the near future the explosion of the population will result.

This may result in the competition for available scarce resources and also the health services will not be enough for the whole population,

So in general, the increase in population should be of great concern and people should be advised to control the population growth rate.
