1) Investment = X
Profit in 2006 by company B = 65% X = 8,12, 500
Total income or revenue = 100% X + 65% X = 165% X
= 8, 12, 500 / 65 * 165 = 20,62, 500
===============================
2) Total income of company A = TI_A = (100%+70%) * Investment
Total income of company B = TI_B = (100%+55%) * investment
So, TI_A / TI_B = 170/155 = 34/31
==================================
3) Investment_A = 2 * Investment_B
investment_B = total_investment / 3
Profit_A = 80% * investment_A = 160% * investment_B
profit_B = 75% * investment_B
total profit = 235% * investment_B = 235% * total_investment / 3
= 235/100 * 27 lakh / 3 = 21.15 lakh
========================
4) income_A_2007 = income_A_2008
investment_A_2007 = 12 lakh
income_A_2007 = (100% + 45%) investment_A_2007
= 145/100 * 12 lakh = 17.40 lakhs
income_A_2008 = (100%+60%) investment_A_2008
17.40 lakhs = 160/100 * investment_A_2008
answer = 17.40 * 100/160 = 10.875 lakhs

5) profit of company A = 10.15 lakh = 55% investment
investment of A = 10.15 * 100/55 = 18.45 lakhs

profit in 2008 - profit in 2007 = 60% * 15 lakhs - 45% * 15 lakhs = 2.25 lakhs

8) investment by A or by B = 25 lakhs in 2010
1/2 [ profit by A + profit by B ] = 1/2 [ 90% + 70% ] * 25 lakhs

Thank you so much sir
The graphs show the profit made by company like 65% 45% etc.. in different years.
You have to read the profit % from the graphs for the company specified. Substitute in the above formulas to get your answers.
So investment = 812500 * 100/65
income = investment + profit
= investment + investment * 65%
= investment * 165/100
= 812500 * 100/65 * 165/100
= 8, 12, 500 / 65 * 165
= 20,62, 500
= investment * (100 + % profit_A) /100
income of company B = investment * (100 + % profit_B ) /100
ratio : (100 + 70) / (100 + 55), as investment is same for both.
