Percentage strength of 50 volume H_{2}O_{2} solution is 15%.

Explanation:

On decomposition of H_{2}O_{2} , H_{2}O_ and O_{2} molecule is produced.

50 volume H_{2}O_{2} solution means that 1 L of 50 volume H_{2}O_{2} on decomposition  gives 50 L of O_{2} at NTP.

                           2H_{2}O_{2}\rightarrow2H_{2}O+O_{2}

                      2(2+32)g     22.4 L at NTP

                           68 g

22.4 L of  O_{2} at NTP is produced from = 68 g of H_{2}O_{2} solution

∴ 50 L of O_{2} at NTP is produced from = \frac{68}{22.4}\times 50 = 151.78 g  of H_{2}O_{2} solution

But 50 L of O_{2} at NTP are produced from 1 L of 50 volume H_{2}O_{2} solution.

∴ Strength of H_{2}O_{2} solution in 50 volume H_{2}O_{2} = 151.78 g

Percentage strength of  H_{2}O_{2} solution = \frac{151.78}{1000}\times 100
