When a company salary structure and it's increment based on performance, then it is quite tough for the employees to work with free mind and satisfaction, they seem to be always stressed and they are always tensed about the performance they are giving.

There is always a great opportunity to get a good promotion if one does an excellent performance. But besides it, if one does a good performance and the other one does more better than him, then it would be pressure for them. This causes an endless level of performance which has no limits.
