so, let lenght be l and breath be b
therefore A/Q
2(l+b)=28
l=14-b --------(i)
also,
area of rectangle= l×b
so lb=40 ----------(ii)
now, putting eq (i) in eq(ii)
(14-b)b=40
14b-b^2-40=0
b^2-14b+40
b^2-10b-4b+40
b(b-10)-4(b-10)
(b-4)(b-10)
hence, b =4 or b=10
case I: when b=4 l=10
case II: when b=10 l=4
therefore A/Q
2(l+b)=28
