Answer:

2(a+b)=70

a=15 then b=15 (as the two sides opposite each other in kite are equal)

2(a+b)

2(15+b)

30+2b=70

2b=70-30

2b=40

b=40/2

b=20

Hence proved.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

length of other 3 sides = 15cm, 20cm, 20cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

  • perimeter of a kite =70cm
  • one of its side =15cm

Find

  • The other 3 sides

Solution

In a kite, each pair of adjacent side has the same length

Perimeter of the kite=70cm

length of one side =15

the side at adjustment to this side will also be equal to 15 CM

Let the length of the other two adjacent sides be equal to X cm

Perimeter = 15+15+x+x

70 = 30 + 2x

2× = 40

so, x = 20
