Peri. Of rect = 2/5 x peri. Of square - 2

=2/5 x 40 - 2

=16

Let the common multiple be x

L is x B is x/3

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

16=2(l+b)

8=x + x/3

8=4x/3

x=8*3/4

x=6

Length is 6m and breadth is 2m
