let the breath be xm the ATQ length won be 2xm
and perimeter=3/5×1000m
2(x+2x)=600
2x+4x=600
x=
length=2×100=200
area =200×100=20000m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of rectangular field =3/5 km

let the length be 2x and breadth be x

( Given that length is twice than its breadth )

Perimeter of rectangular field =3/5 km *1000=

600m

(Given that Area should be in m square so multiplying it by 1000)

Perimeter of rectangular field =600m

2(l+b)=600m

2(2x+x)=600m

4x+2x=600m

6x=600m

x=100m

Length =200m

Breadth =100m

Area of a rectangular field =l*b

200*100

20000m^2
