__________________________

The perimeter of the square = perimeter of the rectangle.

And,

Side of the square = s = 15 cm.

Another side of the rectangle is 18 cm.

Let the breadth be xx and the length of the rectangle is 18 cm.

Atq,

4s = 2( l + b)4s=2(l+b)

=>4*15 = 2( 18 + x)4∗15=2(18+x)

=>60 = 2x + 3660=2x+36

=>2x = 60 - 362x=60−36

=>x = \frac{24}{2}x=224

=>x = 12x=12

Therefore,

Length of the rectangle is 12 cm.

And,

Area of the rectangle is l * b

= 12 * 1812∗18

= 216 cm^2216cm2

Answer:

peri of sq= peri of rect..... i

side of sq=15

one side of rect= 18
