perimeter of a trapezium is 72 cm and its non-parallel sides are 12 cm
If its height is 16 cm, the area will be

Given
Non parallel sides = 12
Height = 16
Perimeter = 72
Perimeter of a trapezium = a+b+c+d
72 = 12+12+c+d
72-24 = c+d
Where c+d are the parallel sides
We got sum of parallel sides = 48
Area of trapezium = 1/2 * sum of parallel sides * height
Area of trapezium = 1/2*48*16
Area of trapezium = 384
Option (a)
