Perimeter of a triangle =42cm. Two of its sides are 12cm and 17cm. Find area of the triangle (√42=6.48,√21=4.58, √2=1.41) by herons formula

Let third side be x

Perimeter=sum of all sides

=12+17+x=42

=29+x=42

x=13

Third side=13

s=Perimeter/2=42/2=21

By herons formula,

you can find Area of the triangle
