Given :-

• Perimeter of rectangle = 180m

• Length of rectangle is 10m more than it's width.

To Find :-

• What's the length of the perimeter?

Solution :-

Let the width of rectangle be x m.

As per question :-

Given,

Length of rectangle is 10m more than it's width.

Therefore,

The length of the perimeter will be = ( x + 10) m.

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

Where,

l = Length

b = Breadth

According to the question :-

⟼Perimeter of rectangle = 180

⟼ 2 × (x + x +10) = 180

⟼2 × (2x + 10) = 180

⟼ 2x + 10 = 180/2

⟼ 2x + 10 = 90

⟼ 2x = 90 - 10

⟼ 2x = 80

→ x = 40m

Extra Information :-

•Area of rectangle = l × b

• Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

• Diagonal of rectangle = √l² + b²

• Length of rectangle = Area/Breadth

•Breadth of rectangle = Area/length
