Answer:

Hi buddy hope this will help you

Step-by-step explanation:

let's think

length= x

breadth=x+7

perimeter=2(x+7)+2x

therefore

138=2(x+7)+2x

69=(x+7)+x           (whole equation divided by 2)

69=2x+7

69-7=2x

62=2x

x=31

length is 31 and breadth is 31+7=38

therefore

area is

=38*31

=  1178

Dear friend,

Here is the explanation to find your answer:

L= ?

B = ?

Perimeter = (l+b) + (b+l)

                 = 138 meters

Length = (b+7)

= 2 x ( b+7+b)

= 138

So,

138 divided by 2 = You get 69. Now for getting the length of the bredth we have to minus 7 with 69. (69-7)

You will get 62, and this is the bredth. Next we have to find the length.

We have to divide 62 with 2, And we get 31.

Now we have to get add 7 with 31 to get the length.

so,

Length:38

Bredth:31

After that you have to find the area of the rectangle!!!
