Let a is base , b is height and c is hypotenuse

We know that

a + b + c = 50 ===> eqn 1

a² + b² + c² ===> eqn 2

From above equation 1

a + b + c = 50

a + b = 50 - c

Squaring on both sides

(a+b)² = (50-c)²

a² + b² + 2ab = 2500 + c² - 100c

Put in eqn 2

c² + 2ab = 2500 - 100c + c²

Hypotenuse ( c ) = 18 cm

c² + 2ab = 2500 - 100 × 18 + c²

c² + 2ab = 2500 - 1800 + c² - c²

[ Cancel the + c² and - c² ]

2ab = 2500 - 1800

2ab = 700

ab = 700 / 2

ab = 350

Area of traingle = 1/2 × b × h

===> 1/2 × a × b

===> 1/2 × 350

===> 175 cm²
