Period of sec²x-tan²x=?

p.s: please don't give silly answers like sec²x-tan²x=1, I'm asking the period not its value!

period of sec²x and tan²x is π

therefore period of sec²x-tan²x is the LCM of the periods of sec²x and tan²x

ie π itself

alternate method:

sec²x-tan²x=sec²(T+x)-tan²(T+x)

on solving or just by observation

T=π

hope this isn't a silly answer...XD
