 {13}^{2}  =  {12}^{2}  +  {x}^{2}

169=144+x*2

x*2=169-144

x*2=25

x= 5cm

Slant height = √(height²+radius²)

13cm = √(12²+radius²)

13cm = √(144+radius²)

Squaring both sides to remove √

169 = 144 + r²

169-144 = r²

r² = 25

r = √25

= 5cm
