A person suffering from myopia is advised to used concave lens' to correct their vision. A myopic person can view objects close to the eyes, but not the ones away from it. Hence, the eyes need a concave lens to converge these light rays as to form the image on the retina and not behind the retina (imaginary) as in a myopic eye, thus making the image formed blurry.
