Rumours are always harmful and dangerous. It can kill the character and reputation of a person in seconds. Rumours get distorted as it pass from one person to another. In today's context of social media, it would take a rumour just a few minutes to reach out to millions of people. We need to use social media responsibly. Some rumours have the potential to start a war or a conflict.
