Explanation:

First installment = rs.200

Installment increases by rs.5 every month

So, Second Installment = Rs.200+Rs.5 = Rs.205

Third Installment = Rs.205+Rs.5= Rs.210

So, It forms an AP : 200,205,210, .............

So, First term = a = Rs.200

d = common difference = rs.5

Formula of nth term = a_n=a+(n-1)da

n

=a+(n−1)d

Substitute n = 25

a_{25}=200+(25-1)(5)a

25

=200+(25−1)(5)

a_{25}=320a

25

=320

Hence He will pay Rs.320 in 25th installment .
