Petroleum has taken million years to form .Why

this is because the dead and decayed animal and plant matter takes time to decompose when they die die they are consumed by microorganisms and also get buried inside the earth and they decompose slowly and turns to liquid....from one animal or one plant we can only get a little amount of petroleum....this also the reason why we are told to save petroleum cause it is limited.
