1.) Getting good marks when you don't understand what you are writing is not a good thing. I never run after marks I just run after excellence and I understand every topic thoroughly by which I get 99% automatically.
2.) Marks don't affect me alot but whenever I get a low score I understand that my practice was less compared to other students even though marks don't tell if you understand the topic or not... For me they help me to get to know how much I revised the chapter or topic.
3.) True Success doesn't mean having big cars, a bank balance of millions it simply is when you grow..when you become better than yesterday ..when you never give up and finally reach the aim you had. Even if this takes a little time it is success.
4.) Michael Jordan, considered by many to be the greatest basketball player of all time, was devastated when he was cut from his high school varsity basketball team sophomore year. Good thing failure only inspired him to work harder.
Here’s what he said about failure:
“I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

5.)Abraham Lincoln is one of the most Famous failures with a high influential personality. He is probably the greatest example of persistence on grounds of his failures. If you want to learn about somebody who didn't quit, look no further.

Born into poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown.

He could have quit many times - but he didn't and because he didn't quit, he became one of the greatest presidents in the history of our country.

Lincoln was a champion and he never gave up. Here is a sketch of Lincoln's road to the White House:

1816 His family was forced out of their home. He had to work to support them.
1818 His mother died.
1831 Failed in business.
1832 Ran for state legislature - lost.
l832 Also lost his job - wanted to go to law school but couldn't get in.
1833 Borrowed some money from a friend to begin a business and by the end of the year he was bankrupt. He spent the next 17 years of his life paying off this debt.
1834 Ran for state legislature again - won.
1835 Was engaged to be married, sweetheart died and his heart was broken.
1836 Had a total nervous breakdown and was in bed for six months.
1838 Sought to become speaker of the state legislature - defeated.
1840 Sought to become elector - defeated.
1843 Ran for Congress - lost.
1846 Ran for Congress again - this time he won - went to Washington and did a good job.
1848 Ran for re-election to Congress - lost.
1849 Sought the job of land officer in his home state - rejected.
1854 Ran for Senate of the United States - lost.
1856 Sought the Vice-Presidential nomination at his party's national convention - get less than 100 votes.
1858 Ran for U.S. Senate again - again he lost(probably his last failure).
.After What matters most is not how many times you fail, but that you never stop trying.enduring so many great failures in life the great Lincoln never quit and stretched a long road of failures to the destination of success, hurdling over obstacles coming now and then.
1860 Elected president of the United States .

HOPE IT HELPS
