Heya!

P4 + O2 =====> P2O5

Let's balance it via algebric method.

aP4 + bO2 ======> cP2O5

For phosphorus =>

LHS = RHS
4a = 2c
2a = c
Let's assume that a = 1
Then, c = 2

For O =>

LHS = RHS
2b = 5c
2b = 5(2)
b = 5

So, balanced equation will be =>

P4 + 5O2 =====> 2P2O5

Thanks!
