The poem "Photograph" is written by Shirley Toulson. The poem deals with the memories of a boy associated with her mother who died 12 years ago.

He had a photograph of her mother which was taken when she was 12 years old and went to the the sea for vacations with her cousins and the photograph was taken by her uncle.

The other two girls held the elder girl's hand and were smiling. Among the three, author's mother had a sweet face but with time they grew and changes took while the sea remained the same it was used to be.

The poet remembered how her mother would to appreciate dress of her cousin and laugh at the photograph. But not it has been 12 years since the death of mother and the poet don't have anything to say about it.
