Here is ur answer

The physical states of matter mainly are:

  • solids
  • liquids
  • gases

Additional information

The matter contains small indivisible particals called atom.

solids:

The atoms in solids are very tightly packed. The atoms in solids have more intermolecular forces between them. Hence, they don't have space between each atom.

example-table

liquids:

The atoms in liquids are loosely packed. The intermolecular forces between them are less between each other. Hence, they have space between each atom in liquids.

gases:

The atoms in gases are very loosely packed compared to solids and liquids. The intermolecular forces between them is very less between each other. Hence, they have more space between each atom in gases.

Hope this will help u!!!
