Answer:

A. Properties of the image formed by a plane mirror are :

1. It is virtual and errect.

2. It is laterally inverted.

3. It is of the same size of the

object.

4. It is formed behind the mirror and

at a distance from the mirror

equal to the object distance.

B. Similarities between a convex and a plane mirror are:

1.Formation of virtual and errect image for all the positions of the object.

2. The reflected rays do not meet by themselves.. rather they are projected backward so that they can meet and image can be formed..

C. A converging mirror converges all the parallel rays whereas a diverging mirror diverges all the parallel rays.

2. The converging mirror forms real as well as virtual images but the diverging mirror can only form a virtual image.

3. The converging mirror is curved inward whereas a diverging mirror is bulged outward.

4. The converging mirror has the centre of curvature lying in front of it but the diverging mirror has the centre of curvature lying behind it.

5. Converging mirror can form an enlarged image but the diverging mirror cannot.
