Hello Mate!
Here, the farmes takes 1 round of whole park of side 10m in 40s.
2 mins 20s or 140s, round taken will be
140 ÷ 40 = 3.5
If farmer started from A then he had ended up at C.
Displacement = Hypotenuse

Hope it helps☺!

thanks...I have a question. My teacher told me that magnitude of displacement means distance..That is why I am getting confused. Cause according to me or it's asking displacement only... What do you think

Answer:
Explanation:
distance covered by the farmer =10+10+10+10=40m
time take by the farmer{complete one round]= 40s
speed =distance /time
= 40m / 40s
speed =1m/s
total time = 2min 20 sec , 2 x 60 =120
= 120+20 =140s
speed 1 m/s
speed = distance/time so, distance = speed x time
=140m
- AC²=AB²+BC²
- AC²=10²+10²
AC²=100+100 =200
AC = √200
=√2 ×√100 ⇒√100=10
=10√2 m
