Pi is actually defined as the ratio of circumference of a circle to its diameter.

Pi =  π    is not  a rational number.
π is represented by  22/7  to be able to work with our calculations and exercises.  Its value is close to 22/7.

So  π / 1  is not a rational number.

Pi is not a rational no.

But to make our  calculation more easier it is expressed in the form of 22/7 , which is a form of p/q .

So, 22/7 is a rational No.
