Stone - Collections of stones can be used to build something.
Leaf - Certain leaves have medicinal properties,such as the leaf of a guava tree. It can be munched to reduce hairfall.
Paper straw - Can be used to sip in juice or if a person is sick and cannot use his hands,a straw can work out nicely for sipping in liquids.
A twig - Very useful for crows for their nesting purpose. ( When i was young, i used to collect twigs and bundle it on my terrace for the crows )
Also elephants love eating soft,tender twigs.If you have an elephant as a pet,you'd know that his fav food is green,soft tender twigs.
