India is a land of traditions. Our ancestors have involved plants, birds and animals to reflect our culture. The idea behind is to protect the environment .The plants like rose bay(Nandivarthanam),Hibiscus(Mandara) and some other flowering plants which are grown in our yards attract honey bees that help pollinate the fruit yielding trees.Similarly we give utmost importance to our poisonous snakes and helps ecological balance.Eagle is believed to be the vehicle of the lord Vishnu. It also eats different kinds of insects and rats protecting the crops from rats and insects.
Some other animals are believed to be the vehicles of gods. The tiger is the vehicle of Devi Durga, the bull is the vehicle of Lord Shiva and the mouse is the vehicle of Lord Ganesh. All these animals help in doing some favour to the environment.
