Fundamental rights, the primary and civil freedoms of the people, are preserved under the authorization of rights comprised in Part III (Article 12 to 35) of the Constitution of India. These involve individual liberties natural to most liberal governments, such as justice before law, liberty of speech and composition, religious and cultural freedom and peaceful association, freedom to practice spirituality, and the right to representative solutions for the security of civil rights by means of writs such as Mandamus, Prohibition, Certiorari habeas corpus, and Quo Warranto.
