To Find : sum of expenditure incurred under head B and D

Solution:

A = 20 %

B = 25 %

C = 30 %

D = 10 %

E = 15 %

Total  = 100 %

expenditure incurred on the printing under head A is rupees 5000/-

=> 20 %  = 5000

=> 1  %  = 5000/20  = 250

=> 100 %  = 100 x 250  = 25000 Rs

Total Expenditure = 25000

                   Expenditure in Rs

A = 20 %       5000

B = 25 %       6250

C = 30 %       7500

D = 10 %        2500

E = 15 %        3750  

sum of expenditure incurred under head B and D  = 6250 + 2500

= 8750
